Dogs 6 months (younger check out our STAR PUPPY GROUP) and older are welcome to join our basic obedience class we follow along AKC Canine Good Citizen program. You will learn new techniques and tools to manage your dog’s behavior. If you are struggling with getting your dog to engage and listen to you, this class is for you. We will cover all the basic commands (respond to name, sit, stay, come, down, off.). and show you how to make them last a lifetime.
Space is limited to 3 participants per class. You can view our current schedule under the EVENTS tab in the menu. Get your name on the list for Canine Good Citizen, Basic Obedience Group Class by registering for a phone consultation at the link below.
For the safety of the class, aggressive, reactive, or corrective behavior are not permitted in group classes and will result in the owner and dog being moved to an individual lesson package where additional costs may apply.

Puppies 8 weeks to six months are welcome to join this group class, based on socialization and boundaries. We will meet on the same day and time each week and include six one-hour training classes. We follow the AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. program and you can expect to build confidence in your new puppy when we work on appropriate introductions to new dogs and people. Also, instill healthy obedience methods by teaching your puppy to want to work with positive reinforcement and understanding the proper use of marker words. Build a happy and healthy relationship with your new puppy. For the safety of the class, aggressive, reactive, or corrective behavior are not permitted in group classes and will result in the owner and dog being moved to an individual lesson package where additional costs may apply. TaylerMade Training recommends puppies stay with their mothers until at least eight weeks old, however we understand situations come up that could require earlier training so please inquire for younger than 8 weeks. Each package is ‘TaylerMade’ to your needs and include 5 in-home lessons to assure the health and safety of your new puppy who may not be fully vaccinated. TaylerMade Training does not recommend exposing your puppy to pet stores, or other highly populated dog areas such as parks etc until fully vaccinated and approved by a veterinarian.

One on one training with a certified trainer to fix behavioral issues that are detrimental to the health and wellness of the dog and others. Board and trains are one on one lessons while the participant resides with the trainer. This is beneficial in training intense behavioral issues, basic obedience but the owner lacks time, or simply to create a more challenging and fun environment for your dog while you’re away.
Service dog training has been a passion and main focus of our head Trainer Tayler Hannes for the past six years. Successfully training and placing nearly a dozen service dogs in that time, Tayler looks forward to sharing her expertise. Boot camps are similar to board and train in the aspect that the participant will stay with the trainer during the duration of the lessons. Focusing on the fundamental basics of scent work training. Participant must have passed basic obedience class or prove to understand the commands to be considered for this group class. TaylerMade Training does accept one on one classes if desired.
In this day and age mobility and flexibility is pertinent to being able to assist in all aspects of training. TaylerMade Training is one of the few trainers that offered video chat lessons 24/7 (with approved appointment) before the pandemic.
